* Do you or anyone in your immediate family own a dog, cat, ferret, etc.?
Use to own dogs, cats, fish and birds. My Brother owns a dog. My mother in law owns
cats, dogs, chickens, and exotic birds
* Do you or anyone in your immediate family hunt, with or without a dog?
My brother hunts with his dog, however his dog passed away due to old age and he has
rescued a dog at a local shelter and once trained with go back to hunting with his dog.
* Do you support any animal rescue organizations or shelters?
No.
* Do you philosophically support any animal rights or animal protection organizations? If
so,please identify the organizations.
No.
* Do any animal rights or animal protection organizations endorse you as a candidate or
financially support your campaign?
No.
* Should Spaying or Neutering of an animal be controlled by the government through
legislation or should it be left between a veterinarian and their client to decide?
Keep the goverment out of our lives. It should be left between the veterinarian the their
clients and the shelters if animals are found stray and their owner can not be found.
* Do you believe that animal owners should have their status as owners changed to the
status of guardians? As a guardian you do not own your animals, you are strictly a
caretaker?
Keep government out of our lives. We are the owners of the animals.
* Do you support the states' prerogatives to manage their resident wildlife populations
and establish local hunting regulations, without federal interference?
I support state rights and will continue to fight for them.
* Do you believe in peoples rights to own (responsibly) any animal of their choice,
regardless of species: exotic or domestic?
Yes, if the animals are properly cared for and the safety of the community is addressed as
in the animal(s) caged and or fenced if needed.
* Do you believe it is okay to discriminate against exotic animal owners through unfair
bans?
NO. as long as the animals are properly cared for and the safety of the community is
addressed as in the animal(s) caged and or fenced if needed.
What is your position on the following animal and/or hunting related issues?
a) Hunting, including the use
Be educated on the rules and regulations. Know about the hunting device you are using.
Make sure your comfortable using your dog and your dog is ready for this adventure. Be
safe and responisble and enjoy what you are doing.
b) Fishing
I have fished along with family members in many streams, lakes throughout the west and
southwest and Pacific Ocean. Be safe and responsible and have a great time .
c) Animal medical research
Animal medical research is not there to intentionally abuse animals.
d) Animal ownership and breeding (including pet & livestock breeding, research animals,
circuses and rodeos)
My mother in law raises chickens.
