The dog is spayed.

* Do you or anyone in your immediate family hunt, with or without a dog?
My son hunts without a dog.

I wear leather and fur, and eat meat and fish. I do hope the animals are killed humanely.
* Do any animal rights or animal protection organizations endorse you as a candidate or financially support
your campaign?
No
* Should Spaying or Neutering of an animal be controlled by the government through legislation or should it
be left between a veterinarian and their client to decide?
The decision should be between veterinarian and client. For animals that are dumped (no owner)
I have no problem with them being spayed or neutered.
* Do you believe in ownership of your animal or "guardianship" where you do not own your animals, you are
strictly a caretaker?
I live in Nevada, not California. I have no problem with ownership!
* Do you support the states' prerogatives to manage their resident wildlife populations and establish local
hunting regulations, without federal interference?
Yes
* Do you believe in peoples rights to own (responsibly) any animal of their choice, regardless of species: exotic
or domestic?
Who defines "responsible?"
* Do you believe it is okay to discriminate against exotic animal owners through unfair bans?
Again, what is unfair? Holding tigers in pens doesn't seem fair to the tiger or to the neighbors. It
really depends on how responsible and fair are defined.
* What is your position on the following animal and/or hunting related issues?
a) Hunting, including the use of hunting dogs

c) Animal medical research
Humane treatment required. If nasty side effects or death a consequence, keep the animal
comfortable.
