Answer: We own two Springer Spaniels. We have always owned dogs, mostly Springer
Spaniels. Both my husband and I grew up on ranches and owned an assortment of barnyard
and domestic animals. We both also were in 4-H; I raised a heifer and my husband raised
steers. One of our daughters was in 4-H with a horse, dog and rabbit


* Is your animal spayed or neutered?
Answer: The younger Springer Spaniel, female, is not spayed.


* Do you support any animal rescue organizations or shelters?
Answer: We do not support any animal rescue organizations or shelters.


* Do you or anyone in your immediate family hunt, with or without a dog?
Answer: My husband Sam hunts deer and elk with horses for packing; his dog for quail, duck
and geese.


* Do you philosophically support any animal rights or animal protection organizations? If so,
please identify the organizations.
Answer: I do not support any animal rights or animal protection organizations philosophically
either.


* Do any animal rights or animal protection organizations endorse you as a candidate or
financially support your campaign?
Answer: Nor is my campaign endorsed by any animal rights or animal protection organizations
nor would I want any financial support from them.


* Do you support intrusive pet legislation, such as the proposed federal law on breeding
frequency and a dog's parenting age (the so-called "Puppy Protection Act," H.R.3484)?
Answer: I do not support intrusive pet legislation, such as the proposed federal law on breeding
frequency and a dog's parenting age.


* Should pets be granted legal rights and accorded "guardianships?"
Answer: I do not believe pets should be granted legal rights and accorded guardianships? I
believe we are to be kind to them, care for them, enjoy them but they are animals, not people
created in the image of God.

establish local hunting regulations, without federal interference?
Answer: I do support the states_ prerogatives to manage their resident wildlife populations and

Answer: Hunting, including the use of hunting dogs is a great outdoor sport as well as source of
food for our dinner table.

Fishing, same as above, for sport and _catch and release_ or dinner fare.

Answer: I support animal medical research, which has given our country, and the rest of the
world for that matter, relatively safe and beneficial medicines, medical methodologies and
procedures.

Answer: Lastly I support animal ownership and breeding, including pets, livestock, and research
animals.


A My philosophy is this: God created everything and told man to take dominion, or in
our language responsible care and common sense management of it.
