* Do you or anyone in your immediate family own a dog, cat, ferret, etc.?
Answer: I'm not a pet owner because I live in an apartment but still get in trouble for feeding
strays.
* Is your animal spayed or neutered?
Answer: Not applicable but I do believe in spaying and nuetering in most cases.
* Do you support any animal rescue organizations or shelters?
Answer: Yes, I regularly support the SPCA
* Do you or anyone in your immediate family hunt, with or without a dog?
Answer: I am my only family and I hunt, mainly in Texas and on private land. I do not use a
dog.
* Do you philosophically support any animal rights or animal protection organizations? If so,
please identify the organizations.
Answer: No but my hunting is not for "Sport" and I do not support poaching, out of season kills
or any form of cruelty to animals.
* Do any animal rights or animal protection organizations endorse you as a candidate or
financially support your campaign?
Answer: No.
* Do you support intrusive pet legislation, such as the proposed federal law on breeding
frequency and a dog's parenting age (the so-called "Puppy Protection Act," H.R.3484)?
Answer: I am not familiar with this "Act" but as I object to most governmental intrusion
(abortion excepted) I probably would not support it but I do detest many breeding programs and
their breeders.
* Should pets be granted legal rights and accorded "guardianships?"
Answer: No.
* Do you support the states' prerogatives to manage their resident wildlife populations and
establish local hunting regulations, without federal interference?
Answer: Definitely, if they have that right and I do not concede it to them. I am against
governmental control of most things and would prefer that most things remain a private
prerogative.
* What is your position on the following animal and/or hunting related issues?:
